Ekphrasis Poetry with Brenda Cárdenas

Join visiting award-winning poet Brenda Cárdenas for a workshop on Ekphrasis Poetry, or poetry written in response to visual art. We'll use the current gallery exhibit as the launching point for our poetry. Attendees are welcome to write in English, Spanish, or both. This workshop is open to CCC faculty and students, Astoria community writers, and area educators. Bring paper and a pen.
