RIC'S OPEN MIC IN ASTORIA

Ric Vrana was a local poet who founded an Astoria-based open-mic night in 2014. Writers mourned Ric’s 2016 death and memorialized him by changing the name of his event to Ric’s Poetry Mic. We celebrate Ric’s efforts in bringing writers together by attending and performing at Ric’s Poetry Mic. All writing forms are welcome (poetry, prose, experimental, and everything in between). More info about the group can be found on their Facebook page.

While we are passionate supporters of Ric’s Poetry Mic, we are not the hosts, but a Guild board member attends every meeting, and we look forward to hearing your work!

WHEN: First Tuesday of each month at 7pm (signups start at 6:50pm)

WHERE: WineKraft — Pier 11 Mall — 80 10th St, Astoria, OR 97103

COVID-19 NOTICE: We defer to WineKraft’s mask, social distancing, and table capacity policies.

Group at WineKraft.
